Fin & Fino’s lengthy raw menu boasts one of the largest and most varied selections of oysters in the Queen City. The list offers up bivalves from more coastlines than we can keep track of, with a rotating daily selection of at least twelve. It’s always a treat, but this Uptown kitchen knows better than to shy away from the specialty oyster dishes… or the classics. Their Oysters Rockefeller is a prime example, delivering all the hallmarks of a great seafood starter: Half-shells, blanketed in a rich butter sauce and bread crumbs, are subjected to a swift broil and then garnished with parsley and lemon. Start with a cocktail and some kind of oyster plate, and finish strong with the day’s freshest catch.
