Lauren Nicole of Lauren Nicole Designs understands perfectly that with Christmas comes the cold, and sometimes we need more than the crackle of a fire in the hearth to warm our spirits. That’s why she strives to infuse every space she designs this season with the very essence of the holidays: warmth, comfort, and family.
This home is located on Lake Jenette in Greensboro, North Carolina, and is residence to a family of seven avid hunters and travelers. With three college-aged children away for most of the school year, the holidays are a special time to reconvene, and a thoughtfully decorated home is the warm welcome to the holiday season that is so important to this family.
With the room’s 14” ceiling and expansive window providing a panorama of the lake, it was the perfect place for this 12” tree to stand proudly adorned with all of the family’s collected ornaments. With the pop of antler stocking holders and the rustic accents of the pine, the fireplace-flanking lanterns, and the red truck, these decorations help create the perfect lodge atmosphere for each family member to enjoy each other’s company with their two dogs.
