A Fall Cocktail Recipe To Start the Season Right

Fall cocktail

Labor Day marks the ‘unofficial’ start of fall, which technically begins September 22, but the kids are back at school, football season has begun, and who isn’t ready for some cooler weather? William Grant & Sons, a family-owned distillery featuring a vast portfolio of award-winning super-premium spirits, will help you embrace the fall with their fall cocktails.

For those not ready for hot beverages just yet, the Dramble is the perfect cocktail to ease into fall featuring Drambuie and Hendrick’s Gin, both of which are produced in Scotland. Drambuie’s unique blend of aged Scotch whisky with a secret combination of spices, heather honey and herbs complements Hendrick’s signature infusion of cucumber and rose petals. Try it at home, and make your fall just that much tastier.

1 ¼ parts Drambuie
¾ part Hendrick’s Gin
½ part Lemon Juice
½ part Crème de Mure
2 tsp Cranberry –Orange Compote
1 tsp Plain Greek Yogurt
Add all ingredients to a mixing tin with ice. Shake vigorously and double-strain into double rocks glass over pebble ice. Garnish with skewered cranberries & lemon twist.
