The Best To-Go Meals This Weekend so You Don’t Have to Cook

Just in time for the weekend, here are a collection of some of the best to-go meals in Charlotte. Choose delivery or pick up from a variety of your favorite spots, and add on a bottle of wine, your favorite beers, or even a prepared cocktail kit from your favorite mixologist.

Heirloom Restaurant

Heirloom is partnering with Chef Patrick Presents to offer ready-made take and bake meals for as little as two and as many as 8 people. Choose a protein, side item, soup, and salad for each meal. The meals are available by placing online orders or calling 704-595-7710, and the team is offering local delivery and pickup from 12pm – 8pm. /

NC Red

Choose either a dinner for two for $30 (half entree, two small sides, two biscuits or cornbread) or a dinner for four for $60 (whole entree portion, two sides, four biscuits/cornbread, and two desserts). Entrees include fried chicken or Nashville hot chicken; half herb-roasted chicken; fried catfish; or NC trout and sides include collard greens, coleslaw, green beans, sweet potato fries, potato salad and more. The team also has desserts like banana pudding cheesecake and chocolate bourbon pecan pie. Takeout is available Tuesday through Sunday from 3-8:30 p.m and orders can be placed over the phone at 704 – 321 – 4716.

The Crunkleton

Crunkleton has “take and bake” family-style dinners that serve between four and six people, and will include dishes like grilled bourbon chicken, Wagyu bison meatloaf, beef stroganoff, and veggie lasagna. Place orders by 4 p.m. daily to get next-day pickup. You can also order $20 half gallon jugs of draft beer and $12 bottles of wine, and cocktail ingredients.

Noble Smoke

Noble Smoke has their meats and sides available to-go, as well as whole frozen Joyce Farms chickens. Whole proteins feed about five. You can also pair that with sides like pan-fried corn, Zack’s collards, or pickled beets. Noble Smoke is also offering half-off on beer and wine. Place your order online.

The Waterman

Try a seafood platter with beer-battered cod, fried shrimp, fries, and coleslaw.  Pick-up at the restaurant or get delivery for $5. The $5 delivery fee does directly toward The Waterman’s staff relief fund.

Dilworth Tasting Room

Open Tuesday through Saturday, 3 to 8 p.m., Dilworth Tasting Room is now offering the following: A three course takeout menu that includes a soup, salad, and entree plus a free kids pizza with each order, all for $25. Sides, a la carte items, and desserts are also available to tack on for an additional cost. All bottles of wine that they offer by the glass are 50% off and the team is now selling cocktail kits to help make your own cocktails at home!. To order, call them at 704.595.3337 between 3 – 8 p.m. to place and pick up your food, wine, and beer.

Haberdish / Bring the Queen

Bring the Queen combines the menus of Haberdish, Crepe Cellars, Growlers, and Reigning Donuts. Place an online to-go order that you can pick up on the patio or curbside. Orders can only be placed online, not by phone. Mixologist Colleen Hughes will also be preparing pre-made cocktails (sans liquor) for you to doctor up at home.


O-Ku is offering 10% off all to-go orders Monday-Saturday, from 4 to 9 p.m. Guests will need to call the restaurant at 704-594-1922 to place the order and confirm timing for curbside pick-up. During this time, O-Ku is offering a limited menu, which can be found on social media as well as the website. Sushi Happy Hour is currently unavailable.

Kindred / Hello Sailor

Kindred and Sailor have combined forces at Kindred to offer delivery and curbside pickup with a delivery fee of 5$. A fresh take on both menus (including Kindred milk bread!) are available.

Bardo is currently offering a limited menu for curbside pickup and delivery (within a seven mile radius) from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday until further notice. The limited menu options can be found on the website. They’re also offering an additional $30 when you purchase $100 in gift cards. All orders (delivery, pickup and gift cards) can be made over the phone by calling 980-585-2433.
