Charlotte Wine + Food Week 2026 (CW+FW) returns April 15–19 for its 38th year, bringing a week of tastings, chef collaborations and wine-focused events to venues across Charlotte — all in support of local children’s charities.

Presented by Truist Financial, the event raises funds for several organizations serving children and families in the region, including Beds for Kids, Digi-Bridge, Families Forward Charlotte and Wayfinders.
Since its founding in 1989, Charlotte Wine + Food Week has become a staple on the city’s spring events calendar, drawing chefs, sommeliers, vintners and food enthusiasts together for a series of curated culinary experiences.
Charlotte Wine + Food Week’s 2026 Events
The week begins with the launch of a public online charity auction featuring wine collections, travel experiences and other specialty items. A lineup of vintner dinners hosted at Charlotte-area restaurants will follow, pairing visiting winemakers with local chefs for intimate multi-course meals.
One of the week’s marquee events arrives Friday evening with the Collectors Gala and Live Auction, designed for serious wine enthusiasts and collectors.
The celebration continues Saturday with the Grand Tasting, a walk-around event featuring more than 100 wines from around the world alongside tastings from Charlotte-area restaurants and live music.
Sunday’s Rosé Brunch will close the festival’s in-person events, while the online charity auction remains open through Monday.
While the week is centered around fine wine and food, organizers say its core mission remains community impact. Each ticket purchased and auction bid placed helps fund programs supporting children and families across the Charlotte region.
More than just a tasting event, Charlotte Wine + Food Week has grown into what many consider a local cultural tradition — one where culinary exploration and charitable giving go hand in hand.
