Bascom Clay Symposium Details
The Bascom Clay Symposium kicks off on September 27th at 4pm with a keynote address by Stephanie Moore. Moore is the Executive Director of The Center for Craft in Asheville, and will set the stage for a deep exploration of ceramic art.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of engaging activities, including a public reception and a rare opportunity to purchase unique artist creations in The Bascom’s Greehey Atrium Gallery.

Known previously as the Three Potters Symposium, this annual gathering has become a staple on The Bascom’s calendar, attracting artists and enthusiasts from North Carolina and beyond. The event has a rich history, having hosted celebrated artists such as Ben Owen III and Christina Cordova in past years.
