Andy Maurer has a cocktail creation, Keepers Of The Field, that awakens the senses with rose petal garnish. It finishes smoothly with a sophisticated citrus flavor stemming from a combination of mandarin blossom and orange blossom water.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 ounce Hangar One mandarin blossom vodka
1 ounce bonal
2 drops orange blossom water
Cava rose petals
METHOD:
Shake Bonal (Bonal Gentiane Quina is an aperitif that has things in common with both Amari and Sweet Vermouth.) Vodka and orange blossom water, strain into chilled coupe. Top with Cava rose and garnish with dried rose petals.
