Most recently, Dr. Evon Zoog joined the Graper Harper team.
Dr. Zoog will work alongside Dr J. Garrett Harper and Dr. Robert G. Graper. All three are complemented by an array of experts in their fields: Aesthetic Injector Specialists, Laser Specialists, PRP Specialists, Medical Aestheticians, OR Nurses, concierge management and office team, and surgery coordinator.
Dr. Zoog finished his undergraduate at UNC-Charlotte before receiving his medical degree at UNC-Chapel Hill. He moved to Chattanooga and completed his general surgery residency.
Dr. Zoog trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of Alabama at Birmingham under the direction of some of the top plastic surgeons in the country. Dr. Zoog’s areas of interest are cosmetic breast and reconstructive surgeries, 3D liposuction and body contouring after weight loss and gynecomastia.
We had the chance to speak with Dr. Zoog to learn more about what he brings to the table and why he loves his work.
Why did you want to be a Plastic Surgeon?
Growing up, I always wanted to be a doctor. As soon as I got into medical school, I realized there was nothing more that I wanted than to help people through surgery, specifically plastic surgery. Every plastic surgery is different. All of the intricate details that go into each surgery for each patient are incredibly important to achieve the desired outcome.
What do you like best about being a Plastic Surgeon?
I love helping patients look and feel their best through plastic surgery. It is so rewarding to see how happy and excited my patients are with their results.
What is one of your most popular procedures?
A Tummy Tuck with 3D Liposuction and Targeted Fat Grafting. This surgery is transformative for women and gives them their life back.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Golf with my son. Also, I love to have a vegetable garden and take care of it with my kids. Every year we make about 50 jars of “Dr. Zoog’s Pickles” that we give to friends and family.
