Try the La Capital Margarita made with fresh lime juice, Chambord, Tequila Mi Campo Reposado, triple sec, and topped with an edible flower.
If you are looking for a unique presentation, try the El Old Fashioned. It’s made with Mezcal Ilegal, orange and chocolate bitters, delivered tableside smoked and rimmed to perfection.
Wanting something on the sweeter and fruiter side? Try the La Flor, which consists of sparkling rosé, St. Germain, and lemon, served over shaved ice.
A lot of creative thinking and sampling went into creating a unique menu that complements Mexican food’s authenticity.
Start your meal by sampling their dips with warm, crispy tortilla chips paired with their in-house salsa and homemade melted queso.
La Capital MX offers a wide variety of tacos, including the Vampiro. Made with tender steak, homemade guacamole, chihuahua and cotija cheeses and pico, these tacos have a mouthwatering take on traditional flavors.
If you are opting for something with a little more sizzle, their fajitas offer the perfect balance of spice with classic toppings like bell peppers, onions, pico, lettuce, cheese and sour cream with rice, beans and tortillas on the side. To get a taste of all the flavors coming from the chef’s creative mind, order La Reina, which includes steak, chicken, shrimp and carnitas.
A La Capital MX spin on seafood is the Salmon MX. So, this includes blackened salmon, a shrimp chipotle aioli and calabacitas and corn paired delightfully on the side.
Make sure you save room for dessert because they serve the best classic churros plated with dipping sauces and strawberries. Powdered sugar is dusted over the top, highlighting the equally delicious crispy outside and fluffy inside.
