There are few cocktails that hit all the right beats perfectly. The Manhattan is one of those rare drinks, but that doesn’t mean its easy to whip up: An imbalance of flavor can ruin even the most classic of cocktails. With this Flor de Caña concoction from William Grant & Sons, though, it’s hard to go wrong.
INGREDIENTS:
2 parts Flor de Caña 7 Year
1 part sweet vermouth
⅙ parts maraschino liqueur
1 dash orange bitters
METHOD:
Add all ingredients to mixing glass filled with ice. Stir vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.
