Inspired by her own health journey of misdiagnoses and chronic pain since childhood, Tiffany knew that her years of suffering and frustration had to end. On a mission for answers, she shifted her focus. She began to look at functional nutrition, which then led to research on the products she used every day. She researched those she used in her home, and eventually on her body. While finding answers took a long time, she was surprised at just how simple the answer could be.
“The Environmental Working Group estimates that each day, American women use an average of 12 personal care products. These products contain126 different chemicals. American men use an average of six personal care products daily containing 85 different chemicals. That’s a lot of chemicals our bodies are trying to process. It can impact our health!” explains Tiffany. “If I’m going to analyze what I put in my body, I certainly should analyze what I put on it as well.”
