For many, the tradition of Mother’s Day brunch in Charlotte is sacred. I mean, who doesn’t love treating their mom to mimosas and pancakes? Though your favorite brunch spot may be closed to dine-in customers, it doesn’t mean that you have to skip the Mother’s Day tradition all together. Many local restaurants are offering to-go brunch specials, mimosa kits, and more.
Mother’s Day is going to look a little different this year, so why not make the most of it? Say ‘thank you’ to mom by ordering in from one of these fantastic brunch spots.
Rare Roots Hospitality
Feed four this Mother’s Day with a choice of Lobster & Crab Quiche or Crab & Lobster Cakes. The brunch package also includes French Toast Bread Pudding, Garlic Herb Roasted Potatoes, Orzo Salad With Cucumber, Tomato and Herbs, and a Corn and Butter Bean Succotash. Their Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner meals are now available for two people as well (starting at $59), in addition to the option to order for four (starting at $99). They’ve also included some options that can be added onto the full meal like Vegetarian Quiche and Ham & Cheese Quiche. Bellini Kits (Lavender-Lemon, Peach Vanilla, and Strawberry Rhubarb) and Mom’s Cheesecake are also now available a la carte. All orders need to be placed by Thursday, 5/7 for pickup on Saturday at any Rare Roots restaurant on Saturday. 5/9, from 2-4pm. Customers will select their pickup location when ordering.
Sea Level NC
Sea Level NC is making sure mom feels all sorts of loved this Mother’s Day with a $29 Brunch meal featuring classic brunch delights. Choose from prime rib or country ham, Belgian waffles OR flapjacks, plus enjoy four sides including chef’s momma’s breakfast casserole (a mouthful in more ways than one), veggie cobb salad, papas bravas, and deviled eggs. Additional add-ons include our top-selling Oyster Shucking Kit, Charcuterie, and Dessert. Wine and Cocktail Kits also available for purchase. Orders are due Thursday, May 7 by noon.
5Church Charlotte is offering a Mother’s Day special Sunday, May 10. They will offer meals for $35 per person including an entree, caesar salad, and choice of two sides. Copain will offer a ‘Mother’s Day Breakfast In Bed’ basket that will include DIY french toast; house smoked Cheshire bacon; Harmony Ridge eggs; greek yogurt; NC strawberries and an option to add on a Mimosa Kit. Basket is $45. With Mimosa Kit, $65. You can also order a la carte, from the bakery, or from the brunch package for four. Orders need to be placed by Thursday, 5/7 at noon for pickup on Saturday, 5/9, between 3-6pm. Orders can be placed here.
Fahrenheit is offering a special Mother’s Day curbside pickup menu. Orders can be placed now through 5pm Friday, May 8th by calling 980.237.6718. Pickup will be between 11am-2pm on Sunday, May 10th. The menu will include items like the team’s deviled eggs, lump crab cakes, filet, salmon, sea bass. There are mimosa flights, champagne, and desserts options, too.
Boudreaux’s Louisiana Kitchen
Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned Louisiana-style cajun brunch? NoDa’s beloved Boudreaux’s Louisiana Kitchen is offering a limited take-out and delivery menu. Try their Foghorn Benedict, made with bourbon fried chicken on a half waffle, with a poached egg and sausage gravy. Fern Flavors From the Garden
For all the vegan/vegetarian mama’s out there, Fern Flavors From the Garden has got your Sunday brunch covered. This plant-based restaurant offers a variety of healthy and delicious brunch options including: avocado lime toast, chicken and waffles (made with seitan chicken), and a chef scrambled made with tofu or eggs. Make sure to grab a slice of their mouth watering carrot cake topped with chai cream cheese frosting and walnuts.
Leroy Fox is all about blending classic southern flavors with fresh, innovative ingredients. If you’re looking for a hearty brunch, this is definitely the place to go! We recommend trying their “Breakfast Sundae,” complete with chopped bacon, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, local grits, hash brown casserole, local sausage gravy, and green onions. Packaged beer and wine is also available upon request.
300 East will offer a Mother’s Day spread of fresh spring vegetables, roasted salmon, butterbean croquettes, and an option for a strawberry oat crumble or chocolate marble cheesecake. You can place your orders by emailing email@example.com and pick up your orders Saturday May 9 or Sunday May 10.
Little Spoon Eatery
Little Spoon Eatery is not your average brunch joint. The restaurant is all about mashing west coast flavors with east coast staples. Their brunch menu is extensive, creative, and mouth-wateringly delicious. Start your meal with some mini cheddar jalapeño biscuits, and for the entree we recommend the goat cheese omelet. Finally, finish your meal with some homemade doughnuts.
Bistro la Bon
One of our favorite Plaza eateries is offering Mother’s Day to go, if you place your order by May 8. There’s a prix fixe option for salmon or filet, with sides, salads, bread, and a dessert of coconut macaroons. Visit their website to order.
Napa on Providence
Though they aren’t exactly serving their famous brunch menu, Napa on Providence has some awesome small plates and lunch options. They’re also offering a six course special Mother’s Day dinner. Choose an entree of roast pork loin roulade, blue crab-crusted salmon, or herb-crusted prime rib.
The Stanley, a farm-driven restaurant specializing in fresh flavors and classic southern fare. Each Sunday they offer their “Brunch Family Meal,” which serves four to six people. The brunch menu changes weekly, but you can expect classic southern breakfast foods such as chicken and waffles, french toast, and quiche. Place your order by Saturday, May 9th to ensure your Mother’s Day feast. FYI, for $30 they’ll even throw in a mimosa kit!
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery
