From builder Patrick Joseph Homes and designer JJ Barja of Elite Design Group comes this stunning study from the team’s Langtree lakeside project. Meant as a respite and a place to retire, the cigar room is wooded, warm, and masculine, while managing to be inviting and comforting, too. The space in this Mooresville home features carefully thought out detailing, like the blue grasscloth by Phillip Jeffries, dark walnut woodworking, bomber leather furniture, and brick-like tile laid in a herringbone pattern.
Jody Kurtz, of Kathryn Lilly Interiors, headed up the interior design to achieve the perfect furnishings to the overarching build. “The room has a patriotic feel,” she explains. Elite Design Group calls it one of their favorite projects to date. The result of putting together the expertise of each of these three industry forces is a room that can only made better by the proximity of the lake waiting outside.
