Skin Pharm is a modern beauty brand founded by nurse practitioner Maegan Griffin in 2017. After 8-plus years in aesthetic medicine, Maegan created Skin Pharm because she wanted the Skin Pharm experience as a patient – and she figured others would, too.
“Having worked in general dermatology and plastic surgery, I was all too familiar with the field’s unpleasant side – short visits, excessive prescriptions, a lack of specialization and unresolved skin concerns,” Maegan says. “I had this specific atmosphere and client base in mind… so I knew it was time to start my own business and bring Skin Pharm to life.”
Once you arrive at the newly constructed, multi-use Park Road building, ride an elevator up four floors to arrive at the light filled, stylishly neutral toned lobby of Skin Pharm. The ample-sized seating area looks more like a chic living room than a waiting room. It also features a large wall filled with rows of Maegan’s own product line, developed and perfected over time and on her real patients.
Once you check in, you’ll be guided down an art-speckled hallway into one of the treatment rooms, where a PA or a nurse injector will help you find the best options for your needs and longterm care goals and perform any treatments or injections.
Expect an experience that feels highly catered to you and customized to your individual needs.
Among the services offered at Skin Pharm Charlotte are Botox, Dysport, microneedling, chemical peels, personalized skin consultations and laser treatments. Skin Pharm Charlotte employs nurse practitioners and physicians assistants as its providers, and can dispense prescriptions, like those for acne treatment or the treatment of wrinkles.
