A take on the classic Old Fashioned, this remixed cocktail made with Carriage House is the perfect drink for wintertime. Carolina Distillery’s single-barrel Apple Brandy makes for the perfect Carriage House Old Fashioned.
INGREDIENTS:
1 sugar cube and 1/2 oz of simple syrup
Dash of Angostura bitters
2 oz. apple brandy
Blood Orange slice
Apple slice
METHOD:
Place sugar cube in the bottom of a rocks glass. Add dashes of bitters. Muddle well, then add simple syrup. Add apple brandy and stir well. Cut slice of apple and blood orange and place in drink. Garnish with blood orange twist.
