Great Backyard Bird Count at Wing Haven Garden & Bird Sanctuary

The Great Backyard Bird Count is a joint project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society. Quietly stroll through the gardens or find a spot to sit, and observe and count birds. This research will be collected and used by scientists to help in their study. Volunteers from Wing Haven and the Mecklenburg Audubon Society will be available to provide information, and guided walks. This event is for everyone, children and adults, and bird novices to experts. Hot chocolate will be served. Please register for this free event in advance.
