Mistletoe Market rings in the holidays at Camp North End

Enjoy the holidays at Camp North End this year. The 76-acre historic site turned creative hub, owned by ATCO Properties & Management, will transform into a winter wonderland on Saturday, Dec. 4, 11 and 18 from 4-8 p.m. for Mistletoe Market. The annual signature event has become a must-visit holiday destination in the Charlotte region and is one of the city’s only holiday night markets.

In addition to Camp North End’s 20-plus public-facing businesses (including food and beverage establishments, boutique shops and arts collectives), Mistletoe Market will feature a Market Street with more than 25 local and regional vendors curated by Vintage Charlotte (VTGCLT).

Other Mistletoe Market activities include larger-than-life festive decor throughout the campus designed by Studio Cultivate, igloos and hangout space at Camp North Pole, an outdoor biergarten, an indoor lounge with holiday movie screenings, two stages for live music, colorful holiday tree displays, plenty of holiday photo moments and, of course, the Immersive Van Gogh experience courtesy of Blumenthal Performing Arts. Immersive Van Gogh has been extended through Jan. 2, 2022.

Each Mistletoe Market Saturday will feature a special pop-up event in addition to the recurring evening activities. On Saturday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m., the Reindog Parade, presented in partnership with Forever Homes Co., will kick off Mistletoe Market with a festive holiday costume parade and contest for dogs. On Saturday, Dec. 11 and Saturday, Dec. 18, expect special collaborations with local arts groups, including The Light Factory and Quentin Talley’s “Soulful Noel,” respectively.

All Mistletoe Market activities are open to the public and free to attend, except for Immersive Van Gogh, which requires an advanced ticket purchase.

And as an added bonus, the first 50 customers at each beverage-focused business during Mistletoe Market evenings will receive a limited-edition Mistletoe Market enamel mug. Ring in the holidays at Camp North End, and help support local makers and the community.
