Overmountain Vineyards is a family-owned business with a great reputation for producing excellent wines. In the Tryon Foothills of Polk County, you might be lucky enough to meet winemaker Frank Lilly or his daughter Sofia who are so passionate about wine.
Piccione Vineyards is a picturesque place to spend a sunny afternoon trying locally-made wine. Owned by an Italian family, the taste of their wines is deeply authentic.
Treehouse Vineyards oozes charm and offers daily tastings, so you know what to buy from their shop on your way out.
Take a scenic wander around the Rocky River Vineyards, where you might see deer and wild turkeys near the bubbling creek. During the summer months, the vineyards host festivals and parties with grape stomping, music and of course, plenty of vino.

Kefi Vineyard & Winery makes Greek wines that are absolutely amazing. Arrive around sunset for the tasting room experience, where you will learn about the family business while trying some of the best wines on offer.
Just 30 minutes from Charlotte, Veronet Vineyards & Winery is wonderful to visit during any month. In summer, you can sit outside and enjoy your drinks, while in winter, heaters, fire pits and red wine will keep you warm.

Douglas Vineyards is a family-owned business in Kannapolis that was established in 2015. With friendly and knowledgeable staff and a pretty setting, it is one North Carolina winery that should be on your radar.
Davasté Vineyards has won many awards for its winemaking efforts and once you have a taste, you will understand why. In the Lake Norman region of North Carolina, this winery has tours and tastings. Additionally, there’s an art gallery and acres of gorgeous grape vines to explore.
