Have an At-Home Concert Celebration
The Avett Brothers always host a concert in their home state of North Carolina, and this time, they’re making your home the venue. You can tune in to their virtual concert by purchasing tickets at $40 per screen. For fans of the classical variety, Charlotte Symphony is also hosting a virtual concert—A Baroque Celebration: Old World, New Year. Purchasing a ticket gives you access to the concert from Jan. 1 to Jan. 8.
Get Active at the Whitewater Center
Start your New Year’s Eve or Day off by running into 2021 as fast as you can. The Whitewater Center’s annual New Year’s Trail Race has adopted a dispersed race model and a second day of racing in order to accommodate for COVID-19 precautions. Pre-registration is $35 and same-day registration is $40.
