Amelie’s, the locally beloved French-inspired cafe known for darling sweets, savories, and beverages, recently launched a seasonal menu abloom with springtime flavors. The newest additions bring 36 items to the selection, including pastries, soups, salads, drinks, and more, making your decision that much harder.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with the delectable raspberry rhubarb petit gâteau, or relish in the refreshed macaron line-up, featuring flavors like raspberry rhubarb, lavender lemon, elderflower lychee, grapefruit tarragon, and strawberry chiffon. The creative pastry chefs at the cafe are also experimenting with a secret new spin on the adorable meringue-like confections by creating new savory macaron flavors like sun-dried tomato, goat cheese, and wasabi. These secret little concoctions may not be on display with the other delicacies, but be sure to ask whether they’re available, as they can be sampled upon request.
The spring menu also offers more substantial eats, with a refreshing strawberry, goat cheese and almond salad, or a flavorful feta, spinach, and caramelized onion danish. Wash it all down with a tall drink of elderflower and lychee limonade, made with freshly squeezed lemon juice and served sparkling over ice. Or celebrate the season with an indulgent Paris rose mimosa—available at the Uptown and Carmel Commons locations—a delicate beverage composed of dried rose petals, smoky rose simple syrup, and sparkling wine.
With all the delectable new choices available at Amelies, we’ve decided it’s just about time spring is in the air…and our bellies.
