Y’all. Arthur Brouthers, one of our favorite abstractionists in the city, has a new opening tonight, Saturday March 4, at his studio, and it’s not only free—he’s also having complimentary Sierra Nevada beer and light food.
He’s highlighting an extensive series of new figurative and abstract works, and we can’t wait to get our first peek at some of his new pieces. Join Arthur tonight from 7 ’til 10pm at Arthur Brouthers Studio, 219 S Brevard St, Charlotte, NC. It’s the Old Historic Grace Church—you’ll have to enter through the rear door, facing Hyatt Place. Arthur suggests looking for “the dented awning above the entrance.”
The mode of dress is your choice, and Arthur says just about everything in the studio tonight is for sale. And since you’re going to an art opening in 2017, cards will be accepted. Taking local art home has never been so casually easy. If nothing else, bring an open mind and some cash for bar tips. Hope to see some of you there!
