Calling all dog owners in Charlotte! Get ready to pawty because Splash and Dash is opening five convenient locations. The Florida-headquartered franchise will bring its time-saving technology, signature monthly membership offering, and safety-first bathing and grooming techniques. Doors will open at the first location in MoRA on Old Post Rd. mid-July and at the second location in SouthPark (the old Earth Fare grocery store space) in September.
Owned by Heidi Hillman and her husband Shawn Hillman, Splash and Dash Charlotte will operate the first two franchise locations in MoRA and SouthPark with three more opening in the next two years.

“After years of research and sifting through thousands of franchise investment opportunities, Splash and Dash’s proprietary software, customer service standards, and membership offerings are what convinced me to purchase the Charlotte territory to open five locations,” said Heidi.
“Besides being a dog lover and having a black labrador retriever myself, I’ve learned so much about the importance of getting your dog bathed (and groomed if applicable) regularly. It not only benefits the pet’s skin and coat, but their overall health with add-on offerings such as teeth brushing, nail clipping and rounding, ear cleaning, and facials. We also perform a wellness check every time a dog is in for an appointment. No one else in Charlotte is providing what we do; a combination of amenities from high-tech big box stores with all the friendliness of your neighborhood mom and pop shop in one place!”
Out of the slotted five locations, two will open by the end of 2024. The first location opening mid-July will be contributing to the explosive growth of MoRA (Monroe Road Advocates, a grassroots group of volunteers who advocate for the neighborhoods, businesses, nonprofits, and schools along Monroe Rd. from 7th Street to Pineville-Matthews Rd.) and the second location will open in SouthPark at the beginning of September in the space previously home to the Earth Fare grocery store in Morrison Place. The remaining three locations are targeted for South Charlotte, North Charlotte and Dilworth.
Gracing the spa menu is the fan-favorite Unlimited Membership (where members can come in for a bath and brush service as many times as they’d like in a month), the Cute & Casual, Smooth & Sleek, and Diva / Stud packages, all of which leave the dog smelling cleaner and fresher than ever before, dog owners can thank us later.
The stores are approximately 1,300 square feet, accommodating a team of bathers, groomers, front desk staff and up to 70 dogs at a time. The spaces boast a facility that doesn’t smell like a typical dog bathing/grooming establishment, with a modern design, including a variety of retail such as all-natural human grade dog treats and eco-friendly toys and shampoos to name a few.
