It’s official: the holiday season is starting. The 2016 Birkdale Village Tree Lighting kicks off tomorrow.
From 3-8 pm, the Huntersville destination will host its popular holiday event. The Saturday festivities include a parade,
Santa’s first arrival at Birkdale Village for the holiday season and the kick-off lighting of the huge decked-out fir that will grace the middle of the village center through Christmas. It’s a beloved seasonal event that draws thousands from all over the Queen City, so be sure to get there and get your spot early.
In standard Birkdale style, the family-friendly weekend event will also include tons of other fun stuff: live entertainment, all kinds of vendors, and plenty of options for eating, shopping, and a quick drink. Proceeds will go to the Grin Kids charity. Find out more at: birkdalevillage.net
