Wondering what will go on in Charlotte for the 4th of July 2020?
While things will look different, and some towns in the Mecklenburg area have already cancelled their usual festivities, some are still going on with modifications. Note that as of this time no official decision about Phase 3 for North Carolina has been made, so all plans are still subject to change in compliance with the statewide order from Governor Cooper.
Here is what you can do, and where, with the family this year. Enjoy the holiday and stay safe. Masks, while still not mandatory, continue to be strongly encouraged in public.

The U.S. National Whitewater Center’s annual event includes live music, fireworks and competitions. There’s a charge for the competitions, and regular rates apply for activities.
