Dot Dot Dot, Charlotte’s invigorating speakeasy and Park Road Shopping Center’s best-kept secret, recently updated their seasonal menu, resurrecting light and bright tastes that launch us into the long-anticipated summer months. Let warm, winter whisky take a backseat and relish in Dot Dot Dot’s fresh new flavors: divulging the prospect of a spring so sweet you can taste it.
Despite the club’s otherwise dark and luxurious ambiance, Dot Dot Dot allows you to achieve an unexpected spring awakening by way of your taste buds. Fueled by local purveyors and seasonal ingredients, the livened food menu shows off the best of an early spring harvest: foraged morel mushrooms and buttery fava beans compliment delicate sea scallops; indulgent burrata turned garden-fresh via roasted beets and sweet summer strawberries. Executive Chef David Quintana highlights ingredients of raw tuna, blood orange, nasturtium flower, and artichoke, integrating vibrant and blossoming flavors as unexpected as they are delectable.
In other refreshments, Dot Dot Dot’s mixologist Stefan Huebner’s extensive yet expert list of cocktails serves up a glorification of traditional tastes. The Lover, Dreamer, & Me hits the ultimate sweet spot using plantation 5-year rum, raspberry syrup, and orange curacao. The seasonal return of Huebner’s Queen’s-Park-style swizzle liberates a rum remission with mint, sugar, and citrus, while The Anchorage offers a crisp, herby, and spirituous drink, combining gin with flavors of yellow chartreuse, lemon, and cucumber garnish. Whether it be with a simple glass of Italian prosecco or a complex pineapple-orange Hildago, Dot Dot Dot gives us new reason to cheers the season of the fresh and sweet.
