North American builder Empire Communities broke ground in Charlotte earlier this year, bringing with them over 25+ years of experience.
Residential homebuilder Empire Communities entered the Charlotte market earlier this year, bringing with them 27 years of homebuilding experience and over 28,000 homes under their belt, including both low-rise and high-rise builds. Their introduction into the market comes after the builder announced that they had acquired Shea Homes North Carolina Division (excluding Trilogy® at Lake Norman).*
With a reputation for outstanding attention to detail and customer service, Empire prides themselves on their ability to create inspiring new places to live, where comfort and style meets design with intent. Having started as a homebuilder in 1993, their strong, family-oriented roots and commitment to the craft have helped them grow into one of North America’s largest privately-owned homebuilders.
Headquartered out of Toronto, Canada, Empire’s entry into the Charlotte market marks their third expansion into the United States, having established intown and suburban communities across Atlanta, Georgia; and Houston, Austin and San Antonio, Texas.
“We are proud to enter the Charlotte market and are committed to enriching our homeowners’ way of life through purposeful home designs and a personalized homebuying experience,” says Sue MacKay, Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing. “We look forward to spending time getting to know the local people, businesses and cultures and do our best to listen, integrate and enhance what’s working. We realize that the role homebuyers play in creating happy, healthy communities is a big one, and we thrive on being able to make a difference. Our goal is always to continue to grow, innovate and create some of the best communities to live in.”
