Support and connect with your favorite Charlotte NC businesses today:
Watching local businesses adapt, grow, and offer brand new programs and options has been inspiring. Here are a collection of ways you can enjoy some of the creative new things local Charlotte businesses are offering up.
SOCO Gallery
Chandra Johnson’s SOCO Gallery has taken their Artist Talks and exhibition openings virtual. Follow along for their Instagram Live’s and other online offerings, so you don’t miss a thing.
FEAST Food Tours
FEAST will now offer workshop livestreams. With technology and working within the “takeout” limitations of our restaurant/culinary partners, their aim is to continue to support the Charlotte community. They will continue to share the culinary stories putting this area on the map. They also will connect the audience directly with the passionate chefs, restaurant owners, and artisans of the area. Their next program is a Wine & Cheese night, April 1 and April 8. You can order the supplies for pick up.
Unpretentious Palate
UP is introducing their Virtual Happy Hours with the likes of Charlotte bartenders like Stefan Huebner, Bob Peters, Colleen Hughes, and more. Get tickets here.
Chef Noble Cooking Series
Chef Jim Noble will walk you through how to cook various family meals, while also offering the “staples” you need at Noble Smoke for pick up. Check out the series and schedule through their page @noble_smoke and get cookin’.
Chef Alyssa
Chef Alyssa and her team are doing what they do best: Teaching you how to cook and create in your own kitche. Join one of her virtual cooking classes from the schedule here.
Ildlewild
The NoDa cocktail bar is now offering “at-home” cocktail classes – order online and they’ll deliver all the ingredients and instructions so you can get mixing yourself.
SkillPop
Continue your learning online with SkillPop Anywhere. Take a makeup class, learn cookie decorating, or even take an “intro to social media marketing” course, from your couch or kitchen table.
New Gallery of Modern Art
NGMA will transition to weekly online exhibits. “Sharing and engaging in art is more important now than ever,” owner Irina Toshkova says. In that spirit, the gallery will present the first of a weekly series of online exhibitions with Shaun Cassidy. It is entitled Sharps & Sounds. “While everything continues to shift around us, we hope that these new exhibitions give each of you a chance to experience the enthusiasm we bring to the art and artists we love.”
