Order/Fire and Jamie Lynch are celebrating the series’ screening at Free Range Brewing May 7. Join in the fun at 1 pm while renowned NC Chef Marc Jacksina sits down with Chef Jamie Lynch to cover topics ranging from his historic Top Chef run last season on Bravo to his career path that led to his 5Church Restaurants across Charlotte, Charleston, and Atlanta.
Order/Fire, Charlotte’s original culinary video web series is produced and filmed by award-winning photographer and director Peter Taylor and hosted by Marc Jacksina. With its lighthearted, conversational approach, each episode aims to get to know the area’s leading culinarians, mixologists, restaurateurs, purveyors and farmers to paint them in a more multidimensional light. Back by popular demand, Order/Fire is currently in its second season.
Chef Lynch attended the New England Culinary Institute in Burlington, Vermont, and worked at culinary heavyweights like Aqua in San Francisco and Le Cirque 2000, Aureole, Café Boulud and Tocqueville in New York City. In 2012, he opened 5Church in the heart of Uptown Charlotte. Most recently, he was awarded Thrillist Charlotte’s Chef of the Year in 2016. Lynch participated on Season 14 of Bravo’s Top Chef and made history by becoming the first Cheftestant to give up his immunity.
