EMYO & Kiah Bellows will open their duo show January 21, 2022 at Shain Gallery.

Kiah Bellows is a full time abstract landscape painter located Greenville, SC. Both of her parents are artists from the west, the western landscape is ever present in my work; combined with the lush blues and greens she says she grew up immersed in on the East Coast. She graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Arts and concentrating in Painting and Printmaking.
EMYO, or Emily, has studied in Italy with an impressionist master, focusing on a method passed down from the impressionist painter John Singer Sargent. The daughter of a Cuban-American, her work is perhaps drawn from those expressive roots. Her work can be found in public and private collections and has been collected in London as well.
The show runs Friday, January 21, 2022 through Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
