According to Zeppelin’s menu, the Old Fashioned was given its name in the 1880s.
Naturally, the Victorian-themed restaurant had to include a riff on this most classic of cocktails in their list of remixes. While the drink does appear on the menu in its original form, Zeppelin’s switch-up for The Edison bears little resemblance to the combination popularized in the 19th century.
