It’s easy to tell ourselves we need self-care, but what does that actually look like in practice? For some, it’s taking the time to do something meditative and relaxing. On the other hand, for others, it’s taking the time to treat themselves and their bodies. But regardless of where the self-care comes from or how it’s done, all self-care should leave people with an improved mood and a healthier sense of wellbeing. Woodhouse Spa, owned by LeAnn Lambert and recently opened in SouthPark, aims to do just that.
“Woodhouse Spa is designed for those who recognize the importance of ‘mood care’ and well-rounded wellbeing,” says Lambert.
Mood Care
That “mood care” comes from the philosophy that each service and treatment from Woodhouse Spa should help clients feel a certain mood — connected, resilient, calm, confident, energized, balanced, or some combination of them all. These six moods heavily affect how Woodhouse Spa looks and feels. The property was designed with clear intention to evoke luxury and be functional and accessible for the spa’s clients.
“When you step through our doors, we want you to feel an immediate sense of tranquility and escape from the outside world,’ says Lambert. “Your journey with us is about more than just pampering. It’s about profound relaxation, renewal, and reconnection with your inner self.”
Guests can experience that through a variety of services, including massages, body treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures, waxing, and Woodhouse signature rituals. These signature rituals are services that clients can’t find at other spas, such as the infrared sauna ritual. This ritual occurs in a special room with infrared light. These conditions promote a faster recovery for athletes and people with injuries by relieving inflammation and increasing blood circulation to the muscles.
Salt therapy is another ritual they offer, which takes advantage of their newly constructed Himalayan salt sanctuary which improves respiratory health.
Like any good spa, Woodhouse also takes pride in its excellent array of facials and massages. These are treatments that even Lambert can’t get enough of.
“The Woodhouse Signature Sculpt Facial is definitely a must-try! This 80-minute treatment combines a facial massage, microcurrent technology, and Gua Sha techniques to lift and sculpt the skin,” says Lambert. “It’ll leave you glowing.”
A New Neighbor
Those interested in visiting Woodhouse Spa can head to its new SouthPark location off of Piedmont Row Drive. Lambert chose this location knowing the spa would fit in well with SouthPark’s other businesses.
“SouthPark has a reputation for its upscale atmosphere and high-end shopping,” notes Lambert. “Woodhouse Spa’s commitment to luxury and relaxation aligns perfectly with the sophisticated vibe of the area.”
Can’t choose just one service? Woodhouse Spa also offers specialty spa packages. They even recommend pairings to help you maximize your mood care (and stretch your wallet). Potential clients can find more information about their spa packages on the Woodhouse Spa website.
