WP Kitchen + Bar Charlotte is always one of our favorite go-tos for a full meal or happy hour drinks, but their latest seasonal menu is giving us even more cause to dine.
Chef Wolfgang Puck started cooking as a child with his mother which laid the foundation for his company. In the time since, he and his brand have since become synonymous with the ultimate of the culinary arts. Charlotte, North Carolina is lucky to be the home of one of the Wolfgang Puck Kitchen locations. The delicious, chef-driven cuisine and luxurious, yet casual setting provides for the perfect lunch or dinner experience.
Guests can always order meals from the year-round menu, but we suggest trying something new off of the seasonal, rotating menu. Start your meal off right with the fall butternut squash soup before heading into the main course. The new autumn dishs includes UAV Ricotta with maple-aged balsamic roasted pumpkin, pepitas, pomegranate, petite greens, and grilled bread. Additionally, the grilled North Carolina Trout, which comes with creamed brussels, caramelized cauliflower, and pine nut gremolata, is the perfect ode to the season.
Notable mentions go to the Pumpkin Agnolotti which includes a wood oven roasted squash, pepitas, sage, brown butter, and pumpkin oil, and Roasted Harmony Ridge Farms Baby Beets with smoked apple puree, puffed grains, ricotta salata, and verjus. After finishing your meal, there is a seasonal cobbler that comes topped by a crumble topping and beside vanilla gelato.
Enjoy your meal at the bar or bring your furry friend with you to their dog-friendly patio while you savor a daily special or handcrafted cocktail. And make sure to keep your eyes peeled as you may be able to see Chef Wolfgang Puck during one of his visits to the Charlotte location. If he is there, he regularly stops to talk and say hello to all of the guests.
WP Kitchen + Bar can be found minutes from Uptown at Phillips Place in Charlotte, but be sure to make a reservation in advance as they can fill up quickly.
