Tell us a bit about how Mint Hill Orthodontics came to be.
After moving to the Queen City from California (where I completed residency), I began working for orthodontic practices right away in Charlotte, Matthews, and Gastonia. When deciding on the perfect location, I was immediately drawn to Mint Hill’s community, pride and proximity to Charlotte Proper. After meeting fellow business owners and community members, it was an easy choice to open Mint Hill Ortho!
What ages do you serve?
We treat all ages. You are never too old or young to have your dream smile! We recommend seeing children for an initial consultation at age seven to evaluate current/future treatment options and familiarize themselves with our office and team.

During a patient’s first visit, they will experience a relaxed, conversational consultation with myself, Dr. Little, and a member of the MHO team. We evaluate photos and x-rays together and review all the patient’s goals and questions to create a treatment plan that best suits the patient’s needs, lifestyle and timeline.

What can we find you doing when you’re not giving people the smile of their dreams as far as hobbies or guilty pleasures?
On the weekends, you can find me at a car show, on my bicycle, or trying to find my golf ball in the woods of any local golf course!
What’s your favorite thing or place in Charlotte/Matthews?
Moving from Michigan and then California, I was immediately drawn to the community. For the Charlotte-Metro area to be so large and continuously growing, the “small town” and tight-knit communities and neighborhoods are incredibly welcoming – and so fun to experience each of their unique personalities, cultures, and of course, foods!
What’s a little-known fact about you?
While attending college at The University of Michigan, I formally tried out for the football team, having never played organized football in my life. This obviously didn’t go according to plan, but at least my plan to become an orthodontist did!
