For one night only, you can experience deluxe dining from some of the best local chefs in the business, all while making a difference as the Celebrity Chef Series hits Charlotte February 28. The benefit charity behind the event, Feed the Children, work around the globe to end hunger and to provide food, education, essentials and disaster relief to those in need.
Fahrenheit’s Executive Chef and Owner Rocco Whalen will host the multi-course Celebrity Chef dinner at his 21st floor eatery in Uptown. Savor unparalleled panoramic views of the Queen City at Charlotte’s quintessential rooftop restaurant while tasting flavors from the area’s finest chefs. Whalen is known in both Cleveland and Charlotte for producing exceptionally fine and sustainable fare.
He will be joined by his handpicked team – some of the people he says have most helped to shape the culinary landscape of Charlotte. Whalen will work alongside guest chefs Joe Kindred, of Kindred in Davidson, Paul Verica of Heritage Food & Drink in Waxhaw, and Fahrenheit’s David J Feimster. Another member of the Fahrenheit team, bartender Brett Buckingham, will be paired with the Ritz’s Bob Peters to create a mixology duo that Whalen says is difficult to match.
Reservations for Charlotte’s Celebrity Chef series range from individual tickets to host tables, with an array of benefits for each reservation. Check out Fahrenheit’s Facebook page for more information.
