The fall season is almost upon us, and many are looking to get out and have some fall fun in Charlotte with the cool weather and beautiful scenery. Luckily, there are many events and festivals coming up this fall for both the adults and kids to enjoy and spend some time together.
Moo & Brew Craft Beer, Burger, and Music Festival
An all-day event, Moo & Brew Craft Beer, Burger, and Music Festival will keep you partying all night! Try out some craft beers from over 75 breweries, from local to national. There will also be fifteen local restaurants competing for the “Best Burger Trophy,” with musical guests to enhance the experience.

Biketoberfest
Those looking to get in a workout while also having a little fall fun in Charlotte will enjoy Biketoberfest. Attendees will be able to discover easy biking routes around Charlotte while enjoying the scenery. Afterwards, stop by Triple C. Brewing Co. for a fun after party for the whole family.

Flow Fest at U.S. National Whitewater Center
Whether you’re new to yoga or want to improve your skills even further, Flow Fest at U.S. National Whitewater Center has everything you’re looking for. Classes include family yoga, workshops and meditations, and SUP yoga, where you can practice while on a paddle board on the Catawba River. Registration is free and can be done on their website.

South End Wine Fest
Here’s another great festival for those looking to have a little fall fun in Charlotte with a drink in hand and some good music. Your ticket can include all-day sampling, a souvenir glass, and access to every local wine, brew, and cider. The event will be held on October 2nd, and tickets can be purchased online.

Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade
Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade will be held this year on November 24, the night before Thanksgiving. Come spread the fall joy with friends and family and see some of the best floats in the southeast, as well as local dance teams, marching bands, and more. The parade will have tickets available on their website soon.

SCarowinds
Returning this year, SCarowinds is back to give visitors a fright. Starting on September 17 and running through the end of October, SCarowinds will feature a variety of new haunted mazes, scare zones, as well as live entertainment. Tickets can be found on their website as well as at the gate.

Small Business Vendor Festival
Participate in a little retail therapy for some fall fun in Charlotte this year. The Small Business Vendor Festival at the Charlotte Premium Outlets is a great way to shop local and support your city and its artists. Vendors will include everything from small gifts, fashion, decor, and much more. You can register for free here.

Hola Charlotte Festival
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage with your local Charlotteans at the Hola Charlotte Festival. The festival will include cultural performances and dances, and a Latin American cultural village representing fifteen Latin American countries. The event will be in-person again this year on October 9th.
