Feed the Frontline Live: A Benefit In Concert
On May 20, enjoy a virtual CMT benefit concert May 20th to support Feed the Front Line and many participating local Charlotte restuarants.
The CMT concert, which will stream the majority of the day on Wednesday, May 20th, with performances throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner, will boast a fun, engaging lineup of country starts. Tune in to see performances from Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow, Kenny Chesney and many others.
Each of the six participating cities has been able to add its own “personal touch” by sharing videos and testimonies that FTFL has collected, so you can keep an eye out during the concert for some of your Charlotte restaurant community members.
Feed the Front Line’s mission is twofold: to support local restaurants during this economically trying time and to feed/thank frontline healthcare professionals, essential workers, and other vulnerable groups most affected during this COVID-19 crisis.
“Our restaurant group works specifically with the Charlotte Chapter of Feed the Front Line,” explains Jamie Brown (of Haberdish, Growler’s, Crepe Cellar and more). “We’ve been able to get out hundreds of meals to our healthcare workers here locally. At a time when our sales are about 20% of what they used to be, these large orders are very helpful to our team. It’s also a big morale boost being able to help the cause in a unique way.”
FTFL Charlotte also works with Dilworth Neighborhood Bar and Grill, Mac’s Speed Shop, Roots, Yafo, Hawthorne’s and others.
“We hope that this brings in many more donations for our Charlotte chapter, and we want to make sure to maximize exposure so we can continue to support all of our partners,” says Jenna Brunner from FTFL Charlotte.
Tune in to Feed the Frontline Live on Wednesday, and help support our local friends in the industry.
