Spend at a day at Lake Norman, Lake Wylie Or Mountain Island Lake
There’s nothing like spending a long weekend lakeside. Lake Norman is only 25 minutes from Uptown; rent a boat, grab a paddleboard, and eat lakeside at restaurants like Hello, Sailor and North Harbor Club. Looking for places to stay? Here are a few of our favorite lake rentals. Lake Wylie is the same distance south of the city and has similar offerings. Now, if being on the water isn’t your thing and you’d prefer to be on the shore, Jetton Park, Ramsey Creek Park, and Lake Norman State Park are great options on Lake Norman.
