This month, Charlotte plans to kick off a brand new event series. The Midwood Market will open in Plaza Midwood December 4 and continue through the month, running every Saturday in December from 11-4pm. The series is an outdoor urban sidewalk market to run on Commonwealth Avenue, Thomas Avenue, Central Avenue and Gordon Street between Pecan and The Plaza.
Midwood Market will incorporate all sorts of local businesses, from artists and performers to bakers, handcrafters, farmers, and local philanthropies. There will be indoor and outdoor vendors, from 1510 Antiques and Consignments to
Soul Gastrolounge, Two Scoops Creamery, Midwood Pies, and City Supply Co.
This family-friendly event is a great way to spend a Saturday in the Queen City and one more way to ensure you support local during the holiday season.
